The Role

Our clients, a shipping company based in Worcestershire, have an exciting opportunity to join their progressive company as a Mulitmodal Sales Manager, to proactively develop new export and import business. This role will be principally office based but will involve regular days out conducting face to face client meetings. Whilst in the office the candidate will be expected to conduct cold calling and business development maximizing client accounts that you have introduced. You will also be responsible for managing a team of 4 sales personnel including 2 part time Business Development executives and 2 full time Sales Support Executives. The right candidate will have: · Freight forwarding experience in at least one mode of transport but ideally all disciplines including road, air and sea. · Proven new business sales experience is essential along with sales management and a professional self motivated personality. The successful candidate will be offered a salary of c£30-35,000 depending on skills and experience.
